Vision is a sustainable architecture and branding concept that transforms a derelict car factory in Granton, Edinburgh, into a vibrant creative hub and greenhouse. Built using recycled plastic bricks and repurposed materials, the space embodies architect Bjarke Ingels’ philosophy: turning consumption patterns and leftovers into our natural environment.

As the flagship venue’s inaugural event, Plastic Fantastic is an immersive exhibition celebrating groundbreaking Scottish innovators in plastic sustainability. The interactive experience features playful, recycled installations, including a plastic ball pit alongside real-world research displays, such as Professor John McGeehan’s pioneer work on enzyme-based plastic breakdown. From the overarching venue branding of Vision to the identity design for Plastic Fantastic, this project demonstrates how creative design and circular architecture can turn environmental challenges into engaging, community-focused experiences.
